Well, March is all but over, and I finished it off with a run. Today I headed up from Ferrymead, up the McCormicks bay track (11.7km, 51 mins) . I was hoping to follow the route I took last time, but it just was not possible due to earthquake damage on the downhill track. Instead, I followed St Andrews Road home, which turned out being a long downhill, or it at least felt like it! It was pretty good, but the uphill was a bit harder than I remember it being! Maybe I need to try and get back into the hills, which in itself might be a bit hard given track closures....
So, March has ended. I ran 24 times, covering 311.61km in 22 hours, 42 minutes. So basically, out of 31 days, I almost ran for a whole day. Not too bad really! I had my longest run to date this month, when I covered 30km on the 7th. But, next month is a new month, and I am confident I can top 30 km!
I have been planning something special to mark my 100th day running so far this year, which will happen on the 10th of April. So, only a week and a half to go till I reach it, 100 days running seems like a pretty darn long time!
