Day 11.

Thought I would head up the Rapaki Track, and instead of dropping down onto Roger’s Track, I headed the whole way to the top. To be honest, I didn’t feel that great while running. Tired, plus also the smoothie I had for breakfast didn’t really want to sit down right!

Not ideal. At all! But, that being said I did get to the top! Came down via the Valley track, the two tracks meet at the beginning of the big climb at the end of the Rapaki track. So the run was 11.64 km ( 58:56)- but I didn’t restart the watch at one point, so I probably missed a km or two before I restarted on the downhill. I will do the run again in the next couple of days (Friday I think), to get a proper measurement! Plus, doing the run while feeling better would be nice also!

I have been reading a pretty interesting book, about sports psychology, it has been pretty interesting stuff actually, and I will have to share some of it! Once I have worked out the best points of course!

Well, 49km so far this week. Need to do another 41 km if I want to have another 90km week- not impossible by any stretch! Might happen, tomorrow will be the 150km up at any rate.
