So, a rest day. Basically a day to do nothing, relax and not run. How did it go? Well.... Interestingly enough, I failed at a rest day. I went to Hanmer, had a relaxing day up there in the hot pools, playing some minigolf (which I tragically lost- heartbreak).
So I got home, had some extra energy, so I then thought that a nice little 5km loop would be in order! So.. a complete failure at rest, but a good 5km run (20:48) done, which of course makes it 30 km so far this week.
So.. I need to work on my "rest" methods. Perhaps next time I will be able to not run? Who knows, only time will tell! At any rate, the km's are still ticking along, and I am feeling good. Thinking McLeans Island tommorow, perhaps two laps?
