Day 2

Day 2... which means run number two.

Run today was one which my brother (I think) created, called the "Two Peaks". Essentially, running from my house, up to Rapaki Track, then dropping down into the valley down the Dry Hills track (I think), then heading up the other side of the valley, then down again, then running home.

You can see how it has the title of the "Two Peaks"! It is a shortened version of the "Three Peaks", which to be honest I would have quite liked to have done today, but I was feeling a bit sore and average. Lets be fair, there will be another chance to do the "Three Peaks" sometime soon without a doubt!

So the run was a nice 8.26km, which roughly equates to exactly what I need to do 6 times a week to meet my goal! Expect to see more runs up this one! Run was 40 mins, 15 secs, roughly equating to 4 min 52 sec kms, which when you are spending half the time climbing, is not too bad.

If nothing else, it is a starting point. Run again tommorow, might make it a flat-ish one. Unsure.
