So, today marks the last Monday of my summer holidays, and apparently around the country the weather is terrible. Here in ChCh however, it is lovely and sunny! So, another sunny day, another hot run. I headed out to Bottle Lake Forest, where I did a lap of the Blue Track (the one I did in the past), but to mix it up I did it in reverse. Mindblowing, I know. Then I headed around the Green Track, since I didnt know how far it was, and wanted a bit more of a run. Turns out Blue+Green adds up to around 15 km, so I think I will try and always do both when I go to Bottle Lake, 15 km is a pretty respectable distance!
So, 15.27 km, done in 1hr 11 mins. Not at all bad. The run itself... I felt tired to be honest. I think the run and a game of indoor soccer yesterday might be catching up with me today! Which is a pity, because that is what I plan to do tommorow. Hmm... Might be an issue. Oh well.
Running tommorow, I have a hockey preseason training run. No idea what it will entail, but I might try and go for a run in the morning, that way I am not relying on the run tommorow afternoon for my kms. Plus I would like to hit the 350 tomorrow. That would be ace.
